Ducati North America proudly announces the newest addition to the model range, the 848 Nicky Hayden Special Edition. 848 special edition will be launched tomorrow at the Red Bull U.S. Grand Prix at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca.
Respect the Fourth of July, Ducati were celebrating the American World Champion Nicky Hayden with a special USA-themed 848. US-exclusive model will be unveiled at Ducati Island at the USGP with Nicky Hayden and Ducati CEO Gabriele Del Torchio.
Nicky Hayden who was the first Edition of the 2010 model year 848's to arrive in the United States. The characteristics and upgrades to the 2010 model this bike including the American-inspired livery, LED dash light for superior night visibility, a 30mm mirror extension kit to improve vision and aluminum cam belt tensioner pulley to improve acceleration.
Boasting 134hp 10,000 rpm, the 848 edition Nicky Hayden unmatched in the middleweight class for torque and power values.
